Has phoned me 3 times in last week. Asian male asks for me by name then when asked who they are and what do they want they hang up. Have threatened to call police if they continue with suspicious calls. I was getting quite upset with the hang ups. Have no idea why they keep calling and not identifying themselves. Idiots

Obvious call centre noise background noise as soon as I answered, with a delay before anyone responded. The caller had an extremely strong Asian/Indian accent and told me his name was Paul Simon (yeah, right!) calling from Norfolk County Council about a recent accident I d had. I told him I hadn t been involved in an accident, he said it must have been a family member (I live alone, but didn t tell him that), I repeated that he was wrong and asked who he thought had been in the accident. How do we stop this unjustified, annoying, harrasing type of call? They should be punished punitively and the money paid to those who receive their nuisance calls.

My car was involved in an accident, 100% liability on other driver & is going through Motability insurance (both cars are on the scheme). So no idea as to why Hastings Direct are calling me & how the heck they got my phone number!! So searched the number & got a lot of responses saying it s marketing, untrustworthy & not to respond! Called to say I had been in an accident and they had received my file. Funny I ve never been in a car accident!! They hung up on me in the end as I was asking too many questions.
