Had a call from this number purporting to be an energy supplier. Hung up and then Googled the number and saw this site, as well as the site below on the search results from a news article stating to get a refund on a cancelled cruise to contact ABTA on this number. Something obviously isn't right with it, so blocked it and advise anyone else to do the same.

SCAM Caller said they were from Amazon and that I would have a high payment charged monthly (£79.99) unless cancelled and the caller was going to "help me" cancel my Amazon Prime subscription. After some arguing (as she tried to get me to stay on the line), I hung up and checked Amazon website going through their online chatbot. Got called at 2.20am then at 2.30 early hours Sunday morning.
SCAM / SPAM Phishing call, pretending to be from HMRC. "Press one now, or you will be arrested shortly". Couldn't be bothered to mess with them further, and hung up. Reported to HMRC.
This number rang my mobile phone this morning. I didn't answer as I don't answer numbers that I do not recognize. Then I ran a search and found all these notifications of it being, AS I SUSPECTED, a scam number. Needless to say, I won't be ringing them back!

Scam call from indian call centre. Claim to be from EON, British Gas or my nan depending on when I tell them I know its a scam, they get angry and start threatening you. Defo not EON and anyone legit. Says name is David. Alright Dave with an indian accent, more like Rajpal Scammer.
SCAM.. spoke to two men both with very strong foreign accents who's English was very poor could barely understand what they was saying. They tried saying they worked for sky and that my broadband had flagged problems over to their head office so wanted me to go on my laptop so they could show me. I immediately checked my sky account through the legitimate app on my phone and ran tests which all came back fine.. all felt dodgy right from the off and when asked to go on my laptop I hung up..
Ringing about my non-fault accident. She did mention a company name but I forgot it. When I asked how she got my number and that her calling me is now illegal she hung up.
