DO NOT answer the call. They don t need to have a conversation with you, just toknow the line is active. They find this out by you answering. They then sell your details and number on to other advertisers and brokers.
Potential scam, American-sounding woman claimed to be from “something or other” from Amazon. I couldn’t make out what it was she said as the line kept crackling, sounded like Ice something but it didn’t make sense so I told her I’d never heard of it and ended the call.
Did not reach phone in time but when I dialled 1471 all I got was a blank tone so don't know who it was.

A man claimed he was from a company called "Speed" who rudely demand to know why I hadn t made a claim for the accident I d apparently been in. The last accident I d been involved in was a few years ago and upon hearing me start to explain this he hung up before I finished speaking. This is clearly a scam hoping to either get some personal details to allow them to commit identity fraud or to falsely extract money from me.

Claimed to be from BT suggesting my internets had been hacked by outsiders. Offered to help me to stop these people from accessing my internets. Advised me to go to a web site to allow connection to my computer and to download software. I then told them i work in IT security whereupon the caller became very rude and hung up on me.
just got 2 text messages after trying to use my card to pay for a transaction with a store declined for no reason. the 1st text said it was RBS and to expect a second text from this number asking to verify transactions just as others on here have said. Deleted it.

I have received several calls from 01614867218 asking for details of my accident, I have not had an accident so I blocked the number. I have now had calls from 01614867210 again asking about my "accident", the caller asked for me by name but did not identify himself he also dodged the issue when I asked how he got my number. I then blocked this number as well.
