I get several calls per week sometimes per day always a recorded message requesting Nasir Hussein to ring back urgently, quoting ref no. I have called 3 times notifying them that the no does not belong to a Hussein. They are very apologetic-but the calls still keep coming. I now ignore but it is highly annoying

Had a liverpudlian girl called Lucy call me just from 01704222222, said she was calling from Alderley Assist, got the usual call centre spiel, had my name on file which I confirmed. I asked her what I could do for her and to cut to the chase as I was busy and got a mouthful of abuse being called and ugly [email protected] and other nice names. Phoned my grandmother claiming to be 02 to upgrade her phone and then wanted her to swap to vodaphone as I came in she put it on loud speaker so I cancelled the call and blocked it so be careful as it could be a scam

Man called with bad english telling me they do data collection I was asking where they got my details from, they already had my name and surname and were asking questions such as, what brand my TV is and if I have a sky satellite dish. I kept asking what they want to do with my information so the guy just rudely hung up on me.
As mentioned in other reports this is Consumer Care Direct, their return contact number is 0161 814 9588, they just keep calling even though there is no interest

Claimed to be from BT suggesting my internets had been hacked by outsiders. Offered to help me to stop these people from accessing my internets. Advised me to go to a web site to allow connection to my computer and to download software. I then told them i work in IT security whereupon the caller became very rude and hung up on me.

(I did not go there) - I have no deliveries due. -I was at home. -The post office have never contacted me in this way before. -I have had similar messages from 'Simon' from different numbers in the past. Big fat scam from HMRC. Could tell it was a scam because I have no money and I’m a child
SCAM. They say they are ringing from Barclays Bank and tried to get me to go into the app to activate a code. After I said I wasn't happy doing it and that I would ring them back, they rang off. I have since rang Barclays and they hadn't called me. SO PLEASE BEWARE!!

SCAM Claiming to be from DHL, had researched info about us, wanted payment for an important document to be delivered.
SCAM Phoned my elderly neighbour offering a free red emergency panic button . Knew her personal details eg. Age and address and then went on to ask for her card details to secure delivery. Pleasant well spoken lady with Far Eastern voice. When I interjected the call she professed she couldn’t hear me then put the phone down. By the way my neighbour already has a n emergency button !

Male called and said I owed money on a NEWDAY credit card linked to my amazon account. I had taken the offer of getting a card via getting a 20% discount on an item but never activated the card. He reeled of items purchased for certain dates. Funny enough, all those payments had already come out of my own Visa card not theirs. Also, the only card visible for payments on my amazon account is my own. And the call was promptly ended.... BE AWARE AND DO NOT GET ROPED IN!!!
