SCAM caller - called saying he's from my bank, quoted some card details (correct, must be on a stolen database) to say that Apple Pay / Contactless are down for 24-48 hours while they do upgrades. I didn't give him any info but somehow he managed to set up an Apple Pay with my card and stole £2,600 from our company account, on payday, 4 days before Christmas. We're now completely skint and can't afford to pay the wages. Been doing some investigating and his name is Tyrell, apparently. Fuck you Tyrel

Got a call at work for a hair appointment in Derby (approx. 200miles from where I live). Never heard of them but they knew my name and where I worked.
DANGEROUS SCAM. The Phone rang and caller (a computer) hung up when I didn't speak! This was a computer generated call trying to sniff out voice lines. If you answered "hello" or anything else then the line will be detected as 'a voice line' and you'll likely be called back later by a very clever con-artist! The same company has been call blocked on at least 20 different numbers, they keep changing numbers every few days, when i get through to one of them and tell them to take me off their calling list they are rude and hang up, scum of the earth! Company needs heavily fining!

Claimed to be a county court enforcement officer wanted me to make a BACS transfer over the telephone for a debt that was disputed years ago. Was very convincing but it is a scam. Genuine High Court Enforcement Officers (HCEOs) and Certificated Enforcement Agents (CEAs) would never ask for sort code or account number over the telephone.
This is a Leeds number which I thought might be someone I know. I called back: straight on to music. Now barred.
