Six calls so far today, each one claims to be from BT and calling about my internet. When I say that they're not who they are they either hang up or argue that they are from BT. If asked to remove my number they do the same, then I get another call an hour or so later. They do not take no for an answer. Obviously using false names, company name and a number which purports to be in UK.
Telemarketing said I'd filled an online form out about solar panels. Which I definitely haven't.

This number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported, all the same range just with last digits different, which is a common thing - they use a range of similar numbers. They are reported with different scope, but mostly call centres work for multiple clients - O2, charities... Unwanted call, rings you, holds on for a few seconds and just hangs up. Called it back as curious and immediately put on hold. Hold music is default for an Asterisk / FreePBX based phone system and whoever called are using it to send out auto-dialer calls - reported to TPS.

SCAM. There is no such thing as a Covid Pass. I nearly fell for it. The first thing they ask for is your GP’s post code. That made me take a 2nd look at it. Then they asked for my name date of birth address etc. I completed my mums Covid booster online form and it wasn’t like this so I pulled myself together and deleted everything and looked at the number which was a mobile. The NHS don’t send anything by text on a mobile number like that. Dangerous SCAM.

Called yesterday, showed local number (Cheltenham) but the person said they were calling from Manchester. Was an attempt to get me to claim compensation for a minor traffic accident.

Called 3 times - first hung up, second I heard a conversation about how the girl likes to hang out with a higher caliber of people and then the 3rd actually spoke! She hung up after disliking my 'pompous' attitude - I asked why they were calling and that I found it strange that they had accident details but were asking whether I was at fault!! Please wind them up if you get the chance, LOL.

I believe this is a cold caller who has somehow, along with two others since blocked, has my mobile number - guessing via software as only family have the number they are ringing. Rings a few times then goes off - ringing the number back produce a constant engaged tone. Another number that'll be getting blocked. This is the third 'cold call' to my mobile in a week that has gone unanswered!
