When questioned how he had seen my details and what details and where he was based he said it was citizens advice in Manchester . I live in Somerset , I said goodbye and hung up. He spoke with an asian accent.

These guys tricked my 89 year old mother with dementia into buying their "services" on 12 August 2016. I only found out when they called again six days later and spoke to me by mistake. An Indian-sounding "customer service executive" calling himself Patrick refused to cancel the contract or to recognise the statutory cooling-off period. Julie Smith...has been informed I ve been involved in an accident that wasn t my fault.
Wanted to talk about my life insurance policy but said it was an "AIG policy" which it isn't. When questioned on this he repeated the same thing once and then stealthily changed it to say he was working with my provider and AIG. Double checked and the two companies don't appear related. He then started on the spiel where he called it a personal policy which it isn't. Let him continue to waste his time and then told him the truth when he asked at which point he hung up on me. Total scam BS.
Sent suspicious text about missed delivery by "Matthew", sent a link to arrange a redelivery, when I entered the link on a separate device, google said that the website is malicious and may try to steal your data and blocked me from opening the site.

Call came approx. 3 hours after one from 01247 896583 which research suggested SCAM was from people purporting to be from BT.01495 No was a pattern so I picked up and blew my trusted whistle down the phone. Magic! They won t ring again.

I have some products from nationwide. got a text claiming to be from Nationwide saying they need to speak to me and to call on this number- about my account. The products I have wouldnt involve them speaking to me. Proper scam! DO NOT RING BACK. Very clever as it come sup as if its actually from Nationwide even my phone put the text under the same sender as the legit Nationwide.

Scam. American type accent called about an accident I supposedly had. I ve only had my phone number for a week and only given it out out my Mum so I guess they re calling random numbers, or all the numbers between two real ones - in either case they don t have the details of any accident.

Alex informed me that he was in London working off a database. The do not take any notice if your registered with TPS. Please be very careful these companies need to be shut down and of the scammer to be brought to justice.
