I have told them I am in dispute with the company which has employed them but they keep calling and saying they want to talk to me. I wrote to them and told them that I do not accept calls as everything must be in writing. They do not stop despite the industry rules.

Pretending to be "national accident database." Ambulance chasers. Put phone down..They may know your name even if ex directory. Makes you think where the leak is!

After a delay, asked for me by name, all be it a bit backwards (first warning), then said he was from the IT department of the Tech Helpline. Hung up on him

This number calls daily. I did answer once but it was just background noise.

Dropped what I was doing & raced downstairs to answer persistent call. Man with an unidentifiable accent garbled something against a cacophony of background noise sounding like the Call Centre from Hell. I asked him to repeat his sentence. He said " can I speak to the owner of the business?" Puzzled, I said " business?" At which point he rudely disconnected the call. No idea why he was asking about a business owner or why he decided not to tell me, or why he had decided on one word that the call wasn t wort

Also claimed to be from Amazon. I told them to send me an email. English was barely understandable. Probably a scam.

I got a call at work and a female welsh voice said `I understand you are under 60 years old and therefore you qualify for a pensions bonus payment of £1,000 which you will receive within the next 60 days. Called to speak to someone else. Told him no-one of that name ever lived here, and I considered his call to be a nuisance call. He then had the audacity to try a sales pitch! Slammed receiver down. Tried to return call to make a complaint, but constantly engaged. Www says company is bogus, so beware!
