Refused to give name or company - avoid - possible scammer

Claimed to be BT (or rather, "BT's outbound team, working for BT", rang my landline but also knew my mobile as they had a PIN sent to it. I said it was a scam and hung up.

Keeps calling, 11 times in 2 days. someone has sold my number to the sellers of unwanted things. No one except my family ever calls me unti these calls started pouring in. I...

I never use the number this person called me on its my tablet so didn't answer it but don't like the idea that someone has it

Repeated calls from this recorded message telling me to ugently claim my refund (for what?) and asking me to select an option. Incredibly annoying spam likely to cost me a lot of money if I make any selection. Watching my phone bill closely to be sure they are not charging me already. How do I block this number?

They called me offering 10 tkts from sa syndicate. Till yesterday i was able to check tickets. But tody says my phone number is invalid, doesn t exist or not registered. So now dont know what to do, im payng every 2 weeks

25 Nov 2021 - Not an 02 or 03 number so are the scammers changing tactics. Couldn’t understand a word chap was saying so put phone down. After reading other comments it would appear to be the scam to white goods insurance cover. I had a similar call a couple of months ago from a guy called Martin (by his accent a long shot on this being his real name) Claiming to be from D&G about renewing insurance cover. This was the latest false number used by the criminals to tell me I needed to co-operate with them because my internet connection was failing - after four similar calls (all using different numbers) yesterday. I was busy. This call did not get answered.

guys beware of making any return calls from numbers you dont know.they might charge you international rates! i got a missed call from this number too.

Never had an account with sp. Don t even know how they got my phone number yet they re constantly calling and asking I pay a debt of over £1000 for an address i have never even hear of. Told them they have wrong number yet still get phone calls up to 6 times a day.

get called from this number 2to 3 times every day early am & 8.0pm goes to answerphone all i ever here is background office noise. when i have answerd they hang up. makes know sense to call daily for weeks & say nothing.
