25 Nov 2021 - Not an 02 or 03 number so are the scammers changing tactics. Couldn’t understand a word chap was saying so put phone down. After reading other comments it would appear to be the scam to white goods insurance cover. I had a similar call a couple of months ago from a guy called Martin (by his accent a long shot on this being his real name) Claiming to be from D&G about renewing insurance cover. Multiple missed calls from this number going to the answer phone. There is never a message left which is why I have graded it as aggressive advertising. When answered, it was related to a magazine subscription based on out of date information.

Put my mobile next to TV and she soon hung up. I don t mind they are paying for the call. TV sound seems quite effective with most unwanted callers.
Or maybe they just work in the UK? I too didn t get far in the conversation before this actually nice lady hung up. I was also just curious about how they got my number. Easy answer really but hanging up to me was a sign that perhaps they aren t so legitimate. Oh well.

02038095000 Someone called from that number and the auto sector said it was Ravenue. They threatened me with a court, a penalty for fraud and that I have to pay £ 2,000 now so you don't go to jail. The scammers sound professional at the beginning of the conversation, so be careful
