Said that they were from the Postcode Lottery claiming that I was a winner! nA miracle! I ve never, ever done the Postcode Lottery - a scam methinks!
Silent call
Automated call - long pause, then an automated message saying my internet company had been trying to contact me and that they were going to cut the service off. Wrong on all accounts, and very annoying especially as it is a UK number. I thought this was illegal now?
Said they were from the Internal Revenue Service and that there was a warrant for "your arrest". No names.
The answering machine says a legal action is waiting to be taken and prompts to press 1 to proceed

Claimed to be Visa ringing about fraudulent transactions on my account. First warning sign - Didn't know who I was. They should know whose account the transactions were on Second warning sign - As far as I'm aware Visa don't contact people direct, your card issuer will contact you. So it would have been Lloyds, Halifax, barclaycard, etc
