Recorded message claiming to be about a fraud attempt on my tax account and instructing me to go to a link by pressing one. Obvious scam! Hung up and blocked number.

Caller claimed to be from sky to check broadband speed. They got remote assess to computer. Everything on desk top vanished.

Very persistent gent - Jerry Edwards - who, when I insisted, gave me Microsoft Manchester s address and phone number. His number withheld. Having put the phone down on him he rang me back immediately TWICE. Only got rid of him by agreeing to be in at a certain time two days later. I just dont answer them. Its pension people.My pension is fine as it is.

Said it was HMRC. Threatened legal action. Wording used - something like "face the consequences" shows it up as a scam. Also a recorded mechanical voice.

4 times in one week. Don t say anything. Very annoying.

"Indian" accented male called on the 11th of August 2016 saying that I had a problem with my computer and that it had many errors that I didn t know about. When I explained that I was in IT he rudely told me to "Shut up madam", when I asked if that is what he said he confirmed and said goodbye.

Repeated calls from this same company with an automatic voice message saying it is a "government awareness call" and asking me to press 5 for an information pack or 9 to opt out. Pressing 5 takes me through to someone who hangs up on me immediately when I start asking about his company or asking for my number to be removed from their database.
