My daughter got stung for £55 for a call to HMRC. Its clearly not the HMRC they would never be allowed to charge extortionate telephone rates and I've phoned them on a number of occasions without charge. I suspect its a scam number that then redirects to the HMRC. DO NOT PHONE THEM - look on your last tax bill as the HMRC website doesn't make it easy to find a number to call.
They have just phoned me claiming to be from My Planet re coming around this afternoon to do CSE assessment re renewable energy. Said needed check them out but can t find them on Internet.
