Keeps calling , I don't answer but don't leave message fed up leave me alone

It was an automated call and they claimed to be calling me about a car crash I was supposedly involved in. Needless to say, I have not been involved in an accident. Typical scum cold callers.

Cold call. If needed I would seek, stop calling.

Claims company calling about claiming back bank and insurance fees

Pressed 2, asked for the name of the company, he wouldn t give it, was rude, and dropped the call. Sigh.

Just received a call from this number asking if we take American Express - I advised no and asked what company they were from assuming it was a customer. He just said he was exploring opportunities for points on his cards. This number appears to be associated with American Express but it would be nice if they were honest about the reason for their call. Call back not possible as I would have asked to be removed from their database.

As usual, my answering machine takes any call, and automatically dials 0171 to record the caller s number if available. Repeated calls from 0139852762 with no message left. I don t care, I don t have to answer, and it must cost whoever it is!

This number has called repeatedly over the last few days. They say that they want to send you a free magazine and petrol vouchers and want you to pay £1 for postage using using a credit or debit card. When I told them I would not give my card detail across they just hung up. How rude. Obviously a scam watch out.

I just had a call from them & never picked it up. Assuming from all the comments on here, it sounds like it is Vodafone trying to get hold of the owner of all new phones to either check the service is ok or to check something else. I am surprised nobody else has clicked on to this yet......Doesn t sound too dodgy to me. Obviously Adrian has opted for no marketing calls from Carphone Warehouse themselves. Continuously being called by this number, and other numbers starting 0151 3. Despite blocking them each time, I am then called by another 0151 3 number. They just hang up when I pick up.

Silent call, have previously not answered

NEVER call an unknown number back as you may be calling a Premium Rate or International number which will cause a large charge to be added to your bill.

Answered the call and it was a civil servant helping me with my benefit payments. Perhaps others would rather not hear from the DWP(!) but if you re expecting a call as I was then it s probably best to accept it.

3 phone calls in 3 days from this no. Having searched this site and others to read reports of Windows scams etc. I decided to answer this one. An Asian man asked if I was Miss Christine. I said "Who? Who s calling?" He hung up, I didn t for another 3 minutes, so presumably prevented him from bothering someone else. Reporting to ICO.

This number has called several and when I answer there is a delay which suggests a call centre but no one speaks

Number from a guy with an India accent said he was Martin from BT open reach I hung up. Same number rang yesterday as well
