IT’S EASY TO STOP THESE CALLS!!! Simply answer the call and pretend to be interested in what they are offering. You will probably be passed to a "manager" who will arrange for someone to visit you. Go along with it, make the appointment and when the salesman turns up tell him you are not interested and have wasted their time because they are wasting yours by ignoring the law and cold calling you. They hate having their time wasted This has worked for me and gives you a great feeling of having got them back

Asian Guy (David) calling from Windows Technical about my computer. Apparently something wrong with my computer so need to turn it on so they could sort it out. I asked them to tell me what my computer IP address is - which obviously they can t tell me because they don t know who they are speaking to. IT IS A SCAM - THEY WANT A ONE OFF, LIFETIME PAYMENT. Said they were SKY, and knew i was ViP customer trying to offer a better deal. I went along with it as far as first and last name, once they asked for my address i said you are Sky you should know this already so I hung up. If it is genuine then i dont think they went about it the right way. If they are not, then i am happy i hung up.

A company called Motor Investigations telephoned me at 5.58pm on 6th Oct 2016. Supposedly calling regarding a claim in the past 12 months. (I ve not made a claim in the last 12 years!!). This is not sky,I m with sky and this mob knew nothing about my subscription so told them to get my number of their annoying list and to go get a real job.

They had my name but stopped speaking mid-sentence before they said where they were from and then hung up. I heard call centre noise after they stopped speaking.
