MIL debt collection agency collecting money for a personal outstanding bill. Making contact with my business suppliers asking for me personally and for me to call them on this number they are also on 01872266136. When calling back they admitted using the internet to gather info in an attempt to catfish me. Not sure this is legal nor in line with GDPR regulations. We'll see solicitor looking into this.

Somebody called and left no message. I called back and was spoken to by a very rude Abbie! I dont have a pet at my work address!! I certainly dont use a vet 20 miles from me. She said ignore it then. I asked who had called originally and why and she said she had no idea! Wont be using you VETS4PETS!!
Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8438707xxx range... People did someone answer this number?

Yet again no answer when I picked up phone. Presumably a multi-dial and someone else answered more rapidly. Getting to be a nuisance with these types of calls becoming more common. Better screening and blocking would be useful.
My husband had this message last night and thought I hadn't been paying the mortgage so a fraught 10 minutes which nearly ended in a row!!! I called the number from a landline and got no response so googled the problem on line and came up with these responses. So very worrying as I knew nothing was amiss. It came up as a +44 7093091089 number. Disgusting!

This number called in the evening. A woman spoke, she got my name right then asked if I lived at, and gave a very odd address . I said no I didn t so she said could I tell her correct address to put their record straight. I said don t bother, and hung up. I should have asked what record and why? Do they come up with a ficticious address hoping you will tell them the correct address?
HSBC fraud department. They called me about a transaction just a few minutes old. Fraudsters couldn t have known about this so quickly. My debit card was unblocked after the call.

When I asked why it came up as a Dundee (01382) number he said it's automatically routed to main base in Manchester. I've had 3 missed calls from them so did 141 on landline.
