Rang at 6.30pm - I didn t recognise number so let ansafone take it - they didn t leave a message. I checked on this site to see who they were, so when the same number rang again at 7.20pm I answered (to wind them up!). A very polite sounding chap with an Indian (or similar) accent explained that he was carrying out a survey for ???????? (illegible) and asked me to confirm that my telephone number was ********** (which was obviously correct as he d just rung it!). He then asked me to confirm that my name

answered but no one there....

This number has been calling our TPS registered landline at least once a day for the last several days. It s a recorded message offering us a free boiler, solar panels and loft insulation and wants us to press a number to claim, but doesn t give a "don t call me again" option. Getting very sick of it.

This number calls most days, and say they have heard from the advice bureau that someone at this address has had an accident in the last two years. This is not correct so I say definitely not and put the phone down.

Apparently the TPS web server is down, so they had to contact me by phone and not email. This is the 2nd similar call today. My TPS registration will expire tomorrow. Do not believe them, as TPS *never* phone customers!!

This was a cold call which would appear to be instigated by awarewness of private medical details known (I thought) only to my doctor and consultant.Call discontinued by me.

Had a missed call from 01772 325455. Rang them back - they did answer! It's a sales company looking for advertising opportunities... someone's got to do it, I suppose...

Clarity is a charity who sell their products over the telephone. I am not too sure how they obtain the numbers that they call.

usual spam caller, puts phone down when answered. When called back the automated taking person sounds dodgy so avoid it.

Called me several times, insisting I had opted in. I used their website contact form to complain and to my surprise got a reply offering to tell me where they got my details, BUT for a fee of 10.00! They also said my numbers had been removed but they ve just called my mobile... They are now blocked. TPS/OFCOM/ICO are useless so long as these people can claim you have opted in. There needs to be a mechanism for checking and revoking opt-ins. Or better still make the default on all websites opt-OUT,

Virus on my Windows. Managed to keep them on the phone for 43 minutes whilst doing some cleaning. Oh the abuse when everything he asked me to do didn t work.
