Oh dear I m not the only one. had £79.99 taken from my account today. I am unemployed at the moment and the promise of a £20.00 fuel voucher for answering a survey was very attractive. What can be done? has anyone managed to get their money back?

Call was silent but when I tried to call it gave a message saying this company does not do outbound calling so if you ve had a call it s probably being misused so report it to the information commissioners office ...so I just did"! They a e investigating it and I got sky to block the number from calling again!

At first I got quite scared when I started getting these calls. I have read a lot about telephone scams where they want to extract your financial data (Net banking PIN, Credit card details etc.) in the name of survey. For this reason I started declining calls from this number. Searching for the owner of this number on the web, I found out that this number belongs to a legitimate lead generation and lifestyle survey company named Simply Outbound. It s an Umbrella Payroll Company for Contractors. I checked out their website as I m unhappy with my current one, and saw the missed call from them (this number), promptly followed by a text message. Googled the missed call number, saw the text 1min later and out 2+2 together.

Called on 29 July on my mobile. Did not pick up. Do not respond to unrecognised numbers.

call to mobile and landline middle of afternoon 21/08/2019 I did not answer and they left no message.

Allegedly calling from HMRC, very rude with Indian accent, accused my wife of tax fraud and needed to pay £1892. Gave a name and badge number and Case Number&...

On answering the caller rang off. I suppose this in the hope that I would ring back. Of course I never would.

fed up of these scammers, told me I had a problem with my computer, I asked him if he thought I was stupid because there is nothing wrong with my computer, he replied no you can believe it with your own eyes,told him he was a scammer and to f.off and I put the phone down really fed up of these calls don t usually answer them,but I was waiting for a phone call and didn t have my specs on... something should be done about these scumbags
