Con artist(not) more remote support

I was charged ?18 in June and a further ?30 in July for a series of texts (?6 per texts) on my mobile bill. EE, who is my mobile provider said they could not refund me the charges as they were from a 3rd party for services such as an entry in a prize draw, or a game download, which apparently I had requested, and as such they could not refund the charge. I get called twice a week by this number, now i just take no notice.

Called back this number to find out what they want and they told me they cannot say unless they speak to the right person. They won t even tell me their company name and what they do. What company doesn t want to tell you that.

Someone called Alex phoned and said a nember of my family had been involved in a recent car accident. I said that wasn t true and he put the phone down. I ve been getting a lot of "you can make a claim" calls recently.
