It claims to be "EVRI", wanting to reschedule a parcel delivery... I'm not expecting any parcel, so I'm sure it's just another one of the vast amount of scams that are going around. Apparently it's an O2 network mobile number "(+447759916871)", in the Manchester area. Pre-recorded female voice (American accent) purporting to be HMRC but number coming up on iPhone as Newquay area. Couldn't clearly hear what was said but usual message engineered to put people under pressure while offering a "Press number 1" type option to be put through to scammers most likely. Just waited and it cut-off.

Completely agree with the other review. There's no reason for me to be called from England. I WOULD ADVISE NOT TO CALL THIS NUMBER BACK, as the number showed as possible fraud. There have been accounts of people calling a number like this back and getting charged a lot of money.

Claimed to be EE, highly doubtful, didn't know my name which EE would. Caller had very strong Indian accent, everytime I've spoken to EE they've had UK based centres, also when questioned about call origin she wasn't sure where call was routed from...very suspicious Definitely seemed very scam-like

Today, someone called my number and claimed that they needed to repair my house. When I told them that they were a scammer, they immediately disconnected. The person sounded like they were from India and struggled with English.

Reported to Barclays, local police and action fraud. Urging anybody else to do the same. Michael operates under micharr_8952 on ebay Working with a “Pamela Gordon” who banks at Halifax, Liverpool Allerton Road branch Email domain is registered with AOL No luck reverse image searching yet, but not to worry, I have plenty of time :-)

Phoned my landline on 20 Jan. 2023 pertaining to be from Amazon Prime and stating that they had taken £94 from my bank account. I was offered a number of options to query this but hung up as it was obviously a hoax call. Amazon Prime would not contact in this way. They tried again on 21 Jan., this time from a different number 01216834924.
Had a call from this number this morning claiming to be Tesco and press 1 to confirm order of £99, press 2 for customer services. Didn't press anything and hung up. Called number back and it belongs to an elderly lady so someone is cloning her landline number. Tried to explain but she didn't understand.
