This number is not secure, it is scammers pretending to be from O2, offering a 50% discount off your monthly bill. Tempting, obviously. They say a text will be sent to confirm this, followed by another text with a code to activate the offer. They will then ask you to repeat the code to them BUT doing this will allow them to take control over your account and possibly other info on your phone. Something didn't feel right so when they rang back for the code I didn't answer but googled O2 scams. Beware.
SCAM Says my NI number has been flagged as having suspicious activity and I need to act now before they seize my assets and arrest me. Pure rubbish and a classic scam line.

Female called saying she was calling about an accident I had reported. I said I hadn t reported an accident and asked where she got the information from. Caller said there was a problem with my computer. Asked him if he was same person making a similar call from a withheld number earlier today who used foul abusive language when I asked if he had heard of the telephone preference service. This time the caller rang off immediately.

Fraud. The female caller (with a strange accent) said she representing Star Financial Services in the USA, and claimed they are currently engaged in a hostile takeover of Prudential Plc. so they wanted to buy my shares but first needed me to sign a non-disclosure agreement. They wanted my email address to send the documents. I said no, even tho they had my correct name and home phone number. I googled the company and they only have 5 employees and a non-phone number listed on BBB in the US.
