I just had a missed call from this number and don't know who it is

Called this evening asking to speak to Mr (my son's first name). Caller had Asian accent. When I asked who was calling, he said it was very important about his computer. So...

Got a missed call to my business line with no voice mail left, rang them back, was Calderdale college looking for apprentice placements.

In my opinion, this is a dodgy number.

Rang just before 1pm, Thursday 16/7/20. Silent. They hung up.

Recorded message, US voice "The number you have dialed is not in service. Please check the number and try again."

this number called me today - hung up when I answered the phone. Very annoying as my number is ex-directory.

Called on the half hour (which is a dead giveaway for cold callers) - not payign attention so I hung up. Why do they do it? Wasting my time as well as theirs and I m not likely to answer a second time am I?? (barred call)

Probably scam. Call several times and if you answer it s a silent call.

Wish EE would stop selling numbers to companies, I ve had the same problem with another number from EE: 0207064512. Thanks for helping me find out who this is! Picked up call they said it was about PPI, normally I hang straight up and block but told them I have no need to claim and he started arguing with me that I didn t know what I was talking about. He told me I d signed up for the call. He then got really rude. Shocking behaviour
