Get CPR CallBlocker for less than ?40, it stops pretty well anything; overseas, unavailable, withheld, private & any displayed numbers too. With capacity for over 1000 numbers it s far better than registering with TPS or such useless companies.

They rang me, left an 8 second voicemail with no sound on it. Proceeded to text the number but it wouldn t send, and I can t call the number either.

SCAM Recorded message falsely claiming to be from HMRC telling me that I am being investigated for tax fraud and I "have to" press 1 to be put though to them. Threatened that I would be arrested straight away if I didn't.
Someone me rang from this number querying credit card purchases. They did not say what card.
As other commenters have already said, asian accented callers who leave "background noise" messages on my answer-phone. Don t bother phoning them back. Claims to be from EE promotions, I thought it was true as I did recently ask EE to call me as I was in the realm for an upgrade. I get repeated calls from this number, which I don't answer. I do not know who the caller is. They always leave a blank voice message of a few seconds with no one speaking. I assume it is a telemarketer given the number of calls, and short messages with no voice.,
