SPAM! I’ve received 2 missed calls on separate days from numbers ending in the same 3 digits. When I tried to return them both numbers had the same voicemail telling my the number doesn’t exist.

Silent call, nuisance calls at all hours, no one speaks and hangs up. Suspect this is one of a number of Northwich phone numbers in some sort of new scam to get the recipient to call back.
They kept ringing, then hanging up. But not straight away, ring straight back and they reject the call

Broad Indian accent, difficult to understand but the general gist I got was he wanted my details so he can save me 30-40% off my bill. Had to press for details on what bill he was saving me money on, he stammered and, almost like he was guessing, said my O2 mobile phone bill. Nobody in this house has any O2 devices so be safe - don't give these scumbags any details. Block the number, maybe work out some of your anger by screaming abuse at them as I did.
Just had the same, went to answer but rang off... not going to ring back...

Called by a Welsh lady saying they were handing out free grants for loft insulation -- did I have loft insulation? I immediately smelt a rat & asked who was calling. She simply said "a grant company". I asked what their name was. She was very evasive but eventually said "Nationwide Energy." I asked what their address was but said she didn t know(!). The PEST is: Domestic & General :( They are a cold-calling pest phishing for new Loft Insulation contracts. I have automated calls on a daily basis for 2 months now - 3 rings and they hang up - never leaving a message. I wish the government would provide the regulators with some teeth to prosecute all these highly persistent phone pests making MULTIPLE nuisance calls. I changed my number relatively recently to avoid this, and I m ex-directory and I ve "opted out" so they should check before they call.
