who is this and where did they get my number from?? i did get someone at the other end earlier today , they mumbled something, called me by a name then the line went dead. I can only assume that whoever was on the other end was a complete arsehole and i would not want to speak to him again anyway. time the authoroties got a grip with these cold callers and put a stop to it. telephone preference registration is a complete waste of time!!!

Caller claimed to be from Talktalk legal dept in London, despite being Birmingham number. Said they needed to connect me to their server to investigate illegal access from abroad. Tried to talk me through downloading Teamviewer and give him the ID and password! Rang off when I said I would report to police.

I jsut had a call from a sweet man give me this whole spiel about Great Ormand Street Hospital. I know great hospital etc. In the end I didnt donate because i am not in the position to financially, otherwise he nearly had me there. Other threads on the net suggest that this was a hoax. I am not sure. People be aware..but don t forget to care!

Who on earth is calling me from the Russian Federation Armenia..!? If it’s James Bond looking for extraction they dialled the wrong number. If it was anyone else it must be a scam. Either way I’m marking it as dangerous and blocking.

Scam call purportedly from bank advising of fraudulent credit card transactions which they are blocking. The caller wants you to input a code which they text to you. DO NOT DO SO. If you do they will, no doubt, get access to your account. I put a block on the call number via my mobile phone provider and sent an email to the bank's security dept informing them of the scam.
I get these phone calls 2/3 times every day. Welsh guy everytime. I asked for his and his manager s name, he then hung up - absolute cowboy!

My TRUECALL device received a call from 01924215367 today. Its operating system would have asked who is calling before asking me whether I wished to accept the call. The caller did not respond and my phone did not ring. I installed this device because I have been a victim of miss-selling and fraud crime. The product is endorsed by BT. Scam call from HMRC. Caller message is in an American accent and when you call back its an offshore rather than UK dial tone and they answer as HMRC - clearly a scam of some sort and not a very convincing one. Caller blocked but beware!!!
