this number is pestering me almost daily

I am on TPS but they claim I opted in to the call by ticking a box in a survey which I never do. Want to help me save money on my energy bills.

Or maybe they just work in the UK? I too didn t get far in the conversation before this actually nice lady hung up. I was also just curious about how they got my number. Easy answer really but hanging up to me was a sign that perhaps they aren t so legitimate. Oh well.

Answered - number for a company called "The Solar Incentive". Very pushy, especially when I said that I was not interested and asked that my details be removed from their systems.

This is a SCAM number: Female voice says HMRC are launching a lawsuit against you and to press one to talk to a case officer. HMRC do not use recorded calls from mobile numbers: they write. These scammers try to get you to pay them. Block it!

I said that I d asked previous callers to remove my name from their list. When asked why I didn t want to claim my entitlement, I said I didn t need to. Q"Why not? Said they were from carphone warehouse (a redundant company) and were trying to sell me a new contract despite my contract not being up for renewal.

I received 6 calls in a day from this number! Now I ve blocked it and they are trying to call me again. It is just unwanted telemarketing. They shouldn t call too many times.
