02 Nov 2021 - An Indian guy rang my mobile from this number, knew my name. I asked where he was calling from but couldn’t understand what he said, put him on loudspeaker and asked again and no one in my office could understand what he said? I asked what it was regarding and he said the rent on my address and knew my address?? I said I don’t rent my house and he put the phone down on me??? Caller claimed to be from BT Openreach calling about poor internet speed - sounded like an Indian call centre. I was wary but we have been having poor speed so I carried on. They asked me to do a speed test on out internet using a site I have used before. They said the speed figures were very low. They wanted me to download software so they could connect to my PC which I didn't do. When I started to challenge them to prove who they were they hung up. I suspect this is a scam call.

Have been calling me for the past 6 months and swearing/laughing at me when I have asked who is calling.
Called to tell me about an accident i had, When untold them they just woke me up from night shift and I was not happy about it they hung up the phone

Woman called and stated that she is from Alpine Services. She said that she was informed that I recently had a car accident and whether this was correct. I said "no" and hung up. Mind you, I don t even have a driver s license for UK and certainly no car.
