Received three calls today, at 1025, 1329 & 1345. I ignored the first two but, having nothing better to do decided to answer. A nice man called Shaun / Sean from a company called the Way of LIfe (or so he said!) wanted to carry out a survey. As usual! I'm not trying to sell you anything Sir....! Received an automated message purporting to be from Barclays saying there had been attempted fraudulent activity on my old Barclaycard and that they would text me details. This they did, saying that they would call me from 01628778331. The scammers have ways of making a call appear to come from a genuine number. The call appeared to come from this number and they asked for my new card number and DoB. After the call was finished, I thought about it and called the Barclay's Customer Service number on the back
