PPI rubbish again

Phoned a few times over the past weeks, never left a message on the answerphone, so I took it as not important.

I regularly get automated calls about the renewal of the Amazon prime account I don t have. This was another one. Same messages but different numbers.

Went to answer and just hung up

Often recieve calls claiming to be from Royal Sun Alliance. Second call received from John at computer maintenance. First time when I told him that there wasn t a computer at this number he hung up, hoped this would deter further calls. But following day different time he phoned again told him that still didn t have computer and wanted to be taken off their database at which point he hung up. Waiting to see if they ring again.

This is a scam. D&G has confirmed this is not their phone number.

PPI company, number showed up as based in Macclesfield. Never needed to look into PPI so they had no reason to call me. Just a company who has no doubt bought a list of data to harass people.

If you have free calls (eg free weekend and evening calls through BT) then phone them back (with 141 prefix) and tell them to check the TPS website before calling anyone. If they ask for your postcode, refuse to tell them. Also refuse to give your number, or any other information about yourself. Simply state over and over again that they are required to consult the TPS website before calling any number. If they talk over you just keep saying "Dont t talk over me, listen to me" until they stop, then tell

Been getting calls from this number for quite a while and these creeps just don t give up! As per the comment they made on the 8th Dec 2016 to "hannah" makes me think how many friends do they really want to make. A super bunch of creeps which I would and would suggest you all to stay clear off as well

Just been called by this number to inform me my emails are being used by someone in the usa and if I follow his instructions through my computer we can solve this together. Bloody nice chap! However I do know that once connected to your computer they can lock you out unless you make payments to them. SCAM me thinks. NEVER call an unknown number back as you may be calling a Premium Rate or International number which will cause a large charge to be added to your bill.

Keeps calling my home and mobile. Have not answered, because when I did they put the phone down straight away.

Phoned to say we are BT, and we are replacing your copper wires to fibre in your area, as soon as I said we already have fibre to the premises, they hung up, suspected scam call.

Young female, said I had had an accident in the past 2/3 yrs which was non fault, I have not! When asked where she had my number from as registered with TPS she completely blanked me and spoke over me, said goodbye and hung up. Very annoyed!

this number rang my husband asking to speak to myself, saying i had an outstanding balance of ?200 for theatre tickets to watch Aladdin at st helens royal theater which is not even showing, they had all my details name surname, date of birth and email address and said could i ring them back to pay my outstanding balance. I did not order any tickets, i tried ringing back but number not recognised please don t give you bank account number to this caller its a Scam
