Scammer from a busy office - presumably an army of scammers, trying to lure unsuspecting victimes. "Sky" and "maintenence" confirmed the Scam for sure (& potential fraud). Asian accent - before checking, wondered if from overseas - could be London though. Wonder who's behind such operations - far-right hate-mongers do seem to be funding all sorts of online trolling these days. A woman called saying she was from my internet provider and the line would be getting cut of, she then suggested that I press one and speak to a supervisor, this is the third such call today. |I of course put the phone down but I'm sure these calls will continue until the police take it seriously and stop what are dangerous attempts to defraud.

Amazon scam from Asian call centre. Supposed fraudulent transaction on my Amazon account. Asked me to give six number code sent to me in SMS from Amazon - This was my two step verification code to change my password. All they need to get this sent to you is your Amazon account linked phone number. I did of course refuse.

SCAM Had these people phone me up on another number pretending to be the national crime agency, using an automated message. When rumbled and blocked they tried again using this number to pretend to be an insurance broker, again using the same tactics with an automated message which made it obvious that it was the same people. Do not trust, just block them.

Stupidly I gave over my bank details (long card number n expiry date) I did actually question him on the phone about why he needs my card details but he ensured me that it s all real n gave me his person

Scam loan company. Said i had been approved by them for a £5000 loan. All i had to do was pay the first £105 upfront and the funds would be transferred immediatly. I was called from this number approx. 5,00pm this evening, and answered to a recorded female message advising me that my Amazon Prime account had expired, and that a charge of £95 would be made to automatically renew it. As I do not have a Prime account, I did not listen any further to the message, which I suspect was going to advise me to press a digit on my phone, to speak to an adviser, from where details of my Bank Account would be required!! I hung up halfway through the message.
