07834756958 A Person calls up and says I think you have my phone. (Strange as I've had this number for over 10yrs.) Told him I think you got a wrong number. Then get a text saying sorry to bother you I got a few numbers the wrong way around. Possibly someone doing research to see if the number is active to put it on scam site. The Phone rang and caller (a computer) hung up when I didn't speak! These are computer generated calls sniffing out voice lines. If you answered "hello" or anything else, then the line will be logged as 'a VOICE LINE' and you'll be called back later by some con-artist! If your phone rings and you don't recognize the number calling you, DON'T SPEAK! JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear anything & the line goes dead then you've just successfully escaped being scammed!

Lengthy call from man with odd accent - maybe African pretending to be American. Said he had $30,000 of bitcoin to send to me from scammers who had used my ID. I don't trust him, found him hard to understand and I eventually hung up. Seemed dodgy to me.

Claimed to be from Vodafone, offering a 40% discount on my monthly bill, before proceeding to ask me what my monthly bill was. I hung up. Clearly a scam, which sounds like it's coming from India.
Called claiming to be Curry’s Pc World acting on behalf of network providers giving customers better deals. Phoned Curry’s to check legitimacy and they informed me this is definitely a scam as they don’t even have an outbound sales call team anymore and don’t act under the Currys Pc World name anymore, just ‘Curry’s’.
