This number appeared on my pc to say I had a virus / computer being taken over - could not do anything with the mouse - so switched off pc with on / off button - restarted - all appears OK. (deleted history) It says it is from Microsoft The number is 02045 099603
number called but they hung up, I called back and a recorded message said they were Energy Savings Review calling about a government backed scheme for solar systems! the message also gave a number to call to be taken off the list 08452863555 i called, see if i get any more calls from them. they have called several times in the last few weeks.

I received a call from this number just now. He said he was from a company called Technical Help Service and told me my computer had a virus. He tried to convince me using various methods including running the eventvwr (the errors listed there are not related to viruses!) This is identical to the well known Windows Technical Helpdesk scam. 100% REAL SCAM ALERT! His name is George Williams. Together with his wife Georgia they are running a scam construction company I ended up working for. Basically what they do is hire you and not pay you what you have agreed on. So far their actions cost them dearly over the money they did not pay me in wages but the real price for their actions is yet to be paid as I no longer take scumbags to court.

SCAM most likely sent me a message about how there was a new device being registered to my bank except I don't have an account at that bank. And they gave me a link to a different website from the bank's official website.

Phoned my Dad with the same Microsoft rubbish quoting a serial number and saying that they would disable his computer, my Dad hung up but they rang straight back. He told them to go ahead and try to disable the computer but nothing happened. He asked for the guy s name and number and he said he was Peter Connor and quoted this number. Someone must be able to track down these scum, wherever in the world they are and lock them up!

Called me twice today. Both times they hung-up a few seconds after I answered, without saying a word.

A woman called Lauren called at 8.30 am to say that a lot of households in our neighbourhood had been receiving unwanted and nuisance calls. I asked if she was one of them and she said that her company, DDC (D Delta Complaints – or having looked at other comments, maybe it was Data Compliance) was going to put us on a more restrictive and safer system to block the fraudsters. I asked for her number and she said 0292 000 8716 but when I did 1471 it was 0208 312 0993.
