The number = 01709889223, this number phoned me today (at 13:08 on 1st March 2022) and the caller stated they were from BT OUTBOUND ringing about my telephone. They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I am ex-directory and my phone is registered with the telephone preference service to block sales calls and unwanted calls. I checked online and the number was listed as Indian and Rotherham based. This call was made from an extremely noisy office, where the background noise was so loud that I had real trouble hearing the person on the line. They offered to call back - and did so, but about an hour later. They said they were calling from my phone company about an upgrade, but when I asked them to confirm which phone company, the caller got very annoyed (raised voice) and defensive - and most importantly, couldn't tell me which phone provider asked them to call.
Microsoft scam. Computer sending errors and warnings to Microsoft. Oh yes sure it has.
Asked about what insulation was in the house. When I said I wasn't the home number they just cut the call. Very rude !!

Annoying caller claiming to be from Independent review team. Caller refused to supply any further information when asked why they were calling. Caller hung up on me.
