Got a phone call from this number saying it was a company called Sun, Sea and Sickness. They told me it was in regards to a package holiday I recently went on (I didn't). Odd, because the number came up as Crieff area code (the tiny town in Scotland that my parents are from - only reason I answered) but the girl speaking had a Liverpudlian accent and sounded like they were in a busy call centre

This number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported, all the same range just with last digits different. A common thing - telemarketing mostly uses a range of similar numbers. This one is mostly reported with PPI, insurance marketing, RTA - accident chasers, sometimes called themselves "First Call Group" - just another big call centre. Just block it or block the range, I have been using the mobile application from these pages, works fine, no problems. Blocked

This is some landline from London area, I couldn't find any info for this specific number, but as written previously for similar numbers, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. All the numbers are of the same range 020347621xx - some of them were already reported as being used by call centre calling for non-profit (NSPCC - check them at http://www.nspcc.org.uk/). Nuisance for me....

These people are known to pose as will writers and will ask for you by name. If you ask, they will tell you they bought your name and number on a list. They will ask you if you own the property. It is an illegal cold call. Tell them to go f**k themselves. Then give yourself a pat on the back and enjoy your day! :)
