When I answered there was a short delay then obviously a busy call centre with numnerous conversations taking place. The caller had a very strong Indian accent and it was impossible to understand what she was saying, not helped by the background noise. Typical of many other scam phone calls. I left the phone on but ignored the conversation until the caller closed the line.

SCAM / SPAM Called to say my Sky service renewal was out of date. When I told him I don't have cover, he tried to argue that I pay for it by direct debit. Once he realised he wasn't getting anywhere, he decided to hurl flurry of obscenities and abuse at me. I tried to keep him on the phone as long as I could to waste his time but eventually he hung up.

This number phoned me suggesting that I could claim ?3750 compensation for a totally bogus, non-existent accident that I never had. It s a scam, and these people are social pariahs. Scum of the earth. Should be thrown out of the country! When I tried to dial the number, it was unrecognised. So, totally bogus. Beware!!!!
