Called several times. Call cuts out when my answerphone cuts in, a common occurrence with telesales agencies. It seems they wait to get a human voice and until you speak all you hear is a silence... say hello and the noise of a call centre cuts in.

this number showed up at work, noted. refund bank charges, which I am sure my bank would have informed me! asking for your bank name and number, he was rude, and said UK Finance Dept, UK Government are refunding. Its a SCAM and hung up. Just waiting for him to call me again, and I will be rude too.

Caller says he can appeal our business rates and save money. Howver a google search shows Melville consulting is a scam operator that lodges the appeal online, which anybody csn do, thrn charges £700 after which they do nothing. Same phone number also brlobgs to Webster and Long. Avoid. In most cases there is no chance of rates reduction. Its easy to check on .gov site the rates details for your property.
These guys have called me 3 times from 3 different numbers. They have spotted an advert on Gumtree and they continue to call. Really aggressive and unpleasant. Avoid having a conversation with them.

The individual announced themselves as Alpine Group but having recently received a call from another similar number last week, I told the female caller to STOP THERE! then hung up. I too was offered "work from home" employment by ING FUNDING (via e-mail). An application form and a contract of employment was attached to the e-mail which I am to fax to 02076811627, but there was no mention of bank details. Is this safe? I will cantact ING directly to find out if anyone can verify this e-mail I was sent. I ll post my findings as soon as I know whats going on.
