I was cold called and told that as I was under 65 and drawing a deferred company pension I was entitled to a £1,000 pound payment. I asked who this was calling and all they would say was The helpline . I told them that I was registered with Telephone Preferences and that I should not receive such calls. I further told them to remove my name from their database.

Third time today (12/02/14) when I answered the phone, Silence, then they cut off the call.

Said they were an independent polling company! I told him i didn't take this kind of call and he said Alright and hung up.

Number unknown, which I usually ignore but as I m waiting for an overnight package I wondered if it was them calling re delivery, so I answered. It was a female caller with (what sounded like) a Chinese accent. She said she was calling on behalf of Telephone Preference Service. I didn t believe it and hung up - but they have rung another twice since then (4 hours ago.)

I have donated to RSPCA for years. Due to the number of calls and actually no message I have just cancelled the DD.

I have received six calls from this number today about my computer, 17th June 2015, poor English, couldn t make out much of what he was saying. Each time I put the phone down he called me back, had to take it off the hook. He said there was something wrong with my router, very persistant.

I just had a call from them & never picked it up. Assuming from all the comments on here, it sounds like it is Vodafone trying to get hold of the owner of all new phones to either check the service is ok or to check something else. I have no idea who they are or what they want but i receive 2 calls a day everyday saying we need to speak with you have blocked several numbers for them now 1 message left said this is a debt relating to my water in northumberland and i have never lived in northumberland and another vm today said its relating to an outstanding parking ticket sounds like a scam will be blocking every call from them and they should be reported to the financial ombudsman

Just had a call from this number. I have a telephone with monitor function, i pressed the button which allowed me to listen to a call center. No one answered or spoke!

Had a call from 02035534016 turns out to be the Leicester Air Ambulance.
