I have had the same calls from this guy,. I did make the mistake of paying first time, but since I know of this scam im not no more, but he still keeps ringing me.

A nuisance call from a company called Save Britain Money, talking about checking tariffs of energy and gas and might be able to save me money on it. told them i wasn t interested and to take my details off their system.
One of those you have had an road traffic accident that is not your fault. I asked were they got my details and they said "road accidents and safety statistics", I then said "surely that data is anonymised", at they she said OK and put the phone down.
Has called several times but I have a speaking phone which tells me the name if it s someone I know, and if unknown, it tells me the location or number of the caller. I did not recognise the number so each time, I ignored it.

0161 820 3548 First Response accident claims @ 3.24pm on 26th May 2016 Man just called me with the same accident response claim cr*p as others have reported. This number calls me every other day and even on Sundays and when I pick up, they keep mute and hang up. They still called today Sunday 14/08/16 at 11:24 hours.
Received missed call at 18:50 which in itself is strange for a business. When I called it back there was a Click, and then a holding Jingle music started playing, as if I'd been transferred to another line. I ended the call after about 10secs. I would consider it spam
