2 Unsolicited calls in 2 days on our ex directory landline no. asking me to go to my computer; connect to the internet so that the caller could help me with what I assume was a virus clearance issue. Having said that, the line was very bad and difficult to understand what he was saying. I asked him not to ring again.

SCAM I have received a number of calls over several months. It is using EE. They were from different mobile numbers but from the same location. it would seem the location is being used to make scam calls. This needs to be investigated by the authorities. Well, despite my undouting that this was scam call, my computer has actually been slow, so I thought I d humor myself and listen to what they had to say... they asked me to press the windows key on my keyboard, when I told the that I had a mac, they hung up haha!

Fraud Automated message claiming to be HMRC and that there is warrant out for arrest for fraud.
i answered this number and the caller said he was from orange calling about my upgrade, I put him off and he called twice more. I talked about my upgrade, he new all my details and gave his opinion on suitable mobiles for me - even advising on my usage and a better phone for me because of it. I contacted orange the day after and they had no record of my call, upgrade or anything about this ? a waste of time and effort if this was a crank call, not sure of the purpose for the scammer but will be checking m

The BeWise insurance company ignore tick boxes stating NO contact - they will contact you regardless. When you tell them to remove your details from their database, they still call the next year. The Ombudsman needs to investigate this company.
Banking scam. Fake recorded message saying unusual transactions have occured on your account and to press 1 or 2 to speak to an adviser. A bit of a stupid scam, because you simply check your banking app on the spot and see there's no pending transactions!

We have been called by this number 5 times in one day. I tried to call back on a mobile but number not registering.
Called my parents number, asked to speak to my father, my mother said you can't, she asked why, she said he is very ill, she asked why what is wrong with him I want to speak to him...my mother said im sorry but I'm not telling you... and he can't speak to you.. so they hung the phone up at my mother asked who they where... im sorry why should elderly people have to deal with people calling there house... its so wrong...why my father couldn't talk is cause he is dying and can hardly speak....
