After I had caught the post I returned and looked up the number. I am grateful to Stitchy for information provided. The most likely reason for the call was to offer services. had calls from this no several times and twice this afternoon there is no one on the other end of line !these calls come from st. albans in herts. would like to know who it is as I live nearby and would like to pay them a visit to kindly ask them of course not to keep harassing me!
My wife was mugged into responding to this. I immediately saw the problem and text'd STOP to the number but they still keep extracting money from the account. Now going to try my provider by banning all premium rate texts to her number and then going to Ofcom to try and get them banned and my money back.
