SCAM I answered this number today and after around 5 seconds of silence, was played a recorded message saying something about my National Insurance number being involved with some fraud. It then said to resolve this issue PRESS 1. at which point I hung up.
I get several calls per week sometimes per day always a recorded message requesting Nasir Hussein to ring back urgently, quoting ref no. I have called 3 times notifying them that the no does not belong to a Hussein. They are very apologetic-but the calls still keep coming. I now ignore but it is highly annoying

I know the university does fundraising drives amongst alumni but these calls stress not just a nuisance but very intrusive. this Indian woman rang me and for over three minutes told me that she was ringing to prevent any nuisance calls to my number in the future. I told her she was being a nuisance.... and she kept telling me that she was from the anti nuisance call line of the UK... that was the extent of the conversation.
