This call came in on my landline, if I don't recognise the number I let the answerphone pick up. A recording told me that my Internet was going to be switched off and to press 1 to speak to someone. This is an obvious scam as they didn't mention the name of my ISP. They would only communicate be email. People would panic if they received this and possibly get caught out.
The phone number 02045174376 may be a scam to get money from people. The call was of bad quality with a lot of background noise. The caller tries to get you to except a phone contract cheaper than you current contract, but with the same or better terms and staying with your current provider. They then ask for an up front fee which they say you will back with the contract. I could not confirm what company owns the phone number, but when you call the number back it went to a message in a foreign language.

Spam/silent calldon't know what company it is however it has rang me several times the last few days and i don't know anyone nor have I requested anyone from Bournemouth to call me, they have called from this phone number and +441202057480. I answered the call once and it was silent for 3 seconds then ended. If anyone knows who these numbers belong to please let me know as if they don't stop calling I'll be taking this further as their nuisance calls are blocking me from my expected important phone calls ??

SCAM CALL. Claimed to be from sky. Knew I had Sky package said I had technical issues. English not their first language. As a test I said no I don’t have technical issues, I don’t even have Sky! Her tone changed and she said “you do have sky the way you know is to look at your dish outside” Asked me to confirm details and I just felt suspicious. Someone called introducing himself as Peter Jones from Finance And Investment Solutions Ltd . they are impersonating a business and personal name by using this landline number to sell a personal loan and trying to get money from people.I checked Finance and Investment solutions Ltd by FCA, and I have been told that Finance And Investment Solutions Ltd is a legitimate company offering only mortgages and its telephone number is totally different from this phone number

A SCAM - be very careful as the person on the phone will try to get you to download a programme called "anydesk.com" which gives remote access to your computer. In my case the person said he was from SKY and was checking on my report on bad internet signal (that part was true).
