Received a text from this number: “Our driver Simon attempted to deliver your shipment today but no one was home. To reshedule a new delivery date, visit:”. I didn’t order anything, plus the URL link wasn’t working, and there’s a typo in the text too so I assume it’s a scam.

I hate these people and others like them. I never press any of the numbers (eg, 5 to speak or 9 to reject) as i assume it is a computer generated call "phishing". If i were to press the 9 - opt out option, I assume would be confirming to the computer my nuber is a real live number and they would sell it on.

Had a call asking for me by name, said that they had got my PPI back for me. They know the bank that I had dealt & asked if I had a account with them now, told them no had new one, they asked which, I told them the first one that came into my head. Asked what type I said saving one, asked about insurance, said don t want any. They put phone done.

Recorded voice message of a well spoken elderly gentlemen saying the call was from National Crime Agency, my national insurance number is linked to multiple crimes and I should press 1 to speak to an officer immediately. Clearly a bogus call, I doubt the National Crime Agency would ring from a mobile number. No idea what they are up to but nothing legal I dare say.

Hung up very quickly when rumbled.. I have not had an RTA / Accident this century! I have blocked the number on my CPR told him nothing and reported the number to GMP on 101. I d like to think that was Game, Set and Match to me!! But you never know so be careful out there!
SCAM I don't know who this company is but they are ARSEHOLES. I answered, they asked to speak to *my name*, I said "who's calling" , they said "good afternoon *my name* I'm Alex how are you today?" , I said "which company are you and why are you calling me?" Automated call claimed to be Barclays but keep changing the name of the person whose card has fraud against it. They have called 3 times today. Why is this number listed as being genuine Barclays.
