Had a Puppy from Shoreham Pet Rescue, Charlie came with FREE 4 weeks insurance from PetPlan, I was told if you Do Not want to continue with the insurance, Just do nothing, and it will be cancelled, PetPlan has rang me for 2 weeks Twice a day, IT IS JUST SELLS,now I know it is PetPlan, I WILL answer the call next, and tell them NO to insurance for Charlie, That should Stop the calls.? SCAM - a recorded message claiming to be from the national crime office stating that my National Insurance number has been associated with various crimes (or some such drivel). Who would have thought the national crime office were using a plain old 3 network number instead of a private number? Not the first time I've heard from these twits. Number now blocked.
He asked if I am "my name". I said yes, and then he hanged up.

This is a very complex scam. They use Voice recognition software and series of recorded English female responses. NEVER GIVE ANY DETAILS RE YOUR NAME< ADDRESS OR ANYTHING. THIS IS FIRST RATE FISHING. KEEP them on the line for as long as possible so they don t have time to annoy others, especially the vulnerable. Its much more fun to wind them up than come off the phone annoyed...
