Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. Unsolicited call - needs reporting! Reportedly "Nat West Branch Survey" - apparently in response to using local branch recently!!! I m ex-directory and registered with TPS. I also DON T have an account with Nat West - so have not used any of their branches !!!! - Annoyingly this call hijacked my phone s answer-machine and the call wouldn t disconnect until I held down all phone keys for 5 seconds!!! SCAM. This is the fourth or fifth call I've had today from a mobile number I don't recognise. Different numbers every time. If you don't leave a message, I am not going to call you back and I will report the number as a scam, because I don't know what you're ringing about.

I answered the phone, silence, then a recorded message said they were RMG and they could not connect me to one of their advisers at the moment, If I wish to call them back then they would connect me to an adviser. Obviously a "sales call" trying to get me to part with my money. Conclusion: Illegal activity.

Scam: Tried to tell me they wer BT and were cutting off my line due to suspicious activity, only suspicious activity was these morons.i don't have a BT line.
They left a 2 minute 30 second voice mail of people talking in the background with a heavy accent that I could not place. (They forgot to hang up.) I did recently register a new phone number and domain name for my business.

Scottish Scammers. They use various names, usually "Green Deal Financing", usually talking about double glazing. They won t give out any identifying information and will hang up if questioned. I now keep a VERY loud dog whistle by my phone, whenever they call they are getting an ear full.

This number called on 30.3.15 at around 12:55pm, but I let my answering machine answer and the called did not leave a message. An internet search came up with Mark Bates Ltd, connected to Premiere Care Insurance.
Incoming call. "This is HMRC. Fraud has been committed in your name. Press 1 to be connected. If you do not, you will be arrested shortly" or words to that effect. If you don't press 1, nothing happens and then you get cut off. This seems like a fraudsters way of weeding out the less gullible who will merely waste their time challenging their BS.

I rang company and they asked if I had the same surname, told them I didn t, they asked if he had ever lived here, then asked for my home phone no. Gave it to her and she said that it had been deleted, I asked if they had my address, lady got very rude and told me not to worry about it anymore and then put the phone down. Why she should be rude to me I don t know. It my address that will have the bad debt attached to it.
