I had a missed call from this number while I was at work. I don't answer unknown numbers especially in work time.

rang only for like 1 second and then it dropped, even if I picked it up there was nobody at the other end of the phone. I blocked the number.

"Kirsty" from "company-name-deliberately-said-too-quickly". Said she had been informed that I d been in a car accident that wasn t my fault. As soon as I said "No!", she hung up. Should have had a little fun first. Nevermind. BLOCKED.

Caller claiming to be from Microsoft Yahoo wanted to check something relating to my Yahoo Local business listing that required I was at a computer. I m out of the office so they said they would call back later. Sounds like a scam.

Some called offering to get rid of cold call, automated calls basically every type of call you don t want. For a small fee of ?1.90 per month, they would provide a box to stop the calls. Is it me or shouldn t BT be doing this for free

NEVER call unknown numbers back. If you do so, you may be calling a Premium Rate or International number which will incur a large charge on your bill.

rang me 2 days ago asking me to complete a survey based on services I had used before, I politely asked for them to remove me from their contact list and they hung up. had another call from them again today, lady was very rude, told me that if I completed the survey I would not be contacted again. I explained I had already asked to be removed from the list and informed her I did not want to complete the survey. Insurance company. Tell them you want to buy something, put the phone on a table and get on with your day, washing dishes, reading the paper, listening to the radio, say something every now and again to keep them there, waste their time, waste their money, keep em hangin on. They ll soon go away, no company can afford to have people making calls and no sales.

Pre-recorded msg, no company name just that I was due £1000 refund on my pension in next month - press 5 to start process - best just to put phone down.

saying they are from talktalk and they have "detected problems with my router". Every time they ring the number changes slightly so you can t tell they ve rung before. I am heartily fed up with these people. Each time I report the scam number to talktalk on their website. Don t know if it does any good but its worth a try.

This number is very dodgy, rings with a local dial tone so that you think it's someone local that you may know, I have since blocked this number

keep calling to say about Microsoft. I ask which Officer they wish to speak to. which leads me to tell them they have called a police station and their call is possibly being recorded. They soon hang up.
