Insulation Apparently I was eligible for a loft insulation survey! Hurrah! As soon as the sickly nice caller realised I wasn't in the target age group (50-80 or 80+ were the stated categories), they hung up! Imagine my disappointment......

I received a call from two british east Indian sounding guys saying that they were calling from The online trading academy. The first one asked me personal info like what I did for a living and what I was currently trading... He then said he would put me on with his highly accredited colleague who then asked me to install an app called Anydesk so that he could screen share charts with me. Trying to go on about back end of my website and issues with google, had a spare few minutes, so kept them on the phone for 15 mins, told them all about my garage, my spider monkeys, (one got out while I was on the phone), explained how we trained them to drive cars by feeding them wine gums, all in all a fun conversation

asked for me by name and had details of an old card that I had used. Stated from GoGuardian - an app to stop cold callers. Informed him I had TPS and that was not stopping them. Got a raised voice response. TPS let calls in from unused numbers and mostly from overseas. Told him not free to talk, then checked on line.. Number relates to a restaurant in Weston Super Mare. So ihe was talking a load of crap. When are these scammers going to give up.

Phoned my grandmother claiming to be 02 to upgrade her phone and then wanted her to swap to vodaphone as I came in she put it on loud speaker so I cancelled the call and blocked it so be careful as it could be a scam

The call from this number was supposedly from BT saying my landline was to be cut off. I checked with my provider who confirmed this was a scam call as none of my service is from BT. My provider has referred the number to their specialist department for investigation.

Claimed to be from "British Technical Department" and there was a problem with my internet. Hung up when I asked if his company was a division of Openreach. I only answered because it appeared to be a local call for me.
