This number is a fundraising organization called Ethi-Call Ltd in Bristol www.ethicall.org.uk/ specialise in telephone fundraising just for charities.

I have this number in my phone but don't know which company it is can you please tell me thanks

Over the past two or three years I have told them several times not to call me, and to delete my details from their database. They state that they will and it will take a few weeks. on 22 june the above number 0161 8735544 rang my son and said that an amount of ?1500.00 was waiting to be claimed fir whiplash for a accident he had in 2009 foulishly he gave them details including his mobile phone number and said they will ring him on monday 25th june to follow this up. Very persistent. Claiming to be from vodafone but had no knowledge of current contract. Lady refused to give her full name. When I challenged about it being a scam she quickly changed from being persistent to wanting to get off the phone. I would not trust this number

I have been receiving several calls a week from this number to my mobile phone, home number and office number. They either say they are from "Trading Banks" or a market research company in Taiwan. The caller "david", told me I had been involved in a car accident a month ago (which I have not) he proceeded to tell me I was wrong. At this point I cut him off and told him this was not possible and hung up.

This is a debt collection company. Often long term or aging debt is sold and the purchasing collection agency makes profit by aggressively chasing that debt. Rings constantly pretending to be talk talk. As an X talk talk customer I have challenged them on this and the caller will just go quiet and hang up. "Asian" voice saying from Talktalk wanting to check your router....This is a scam trying to empty your bank account............just hang up on them.
