I don't know anyone in Germany so god knows how they got my number but the thing is if it was important i get so many harassing calls everyday I don't answer anything i don't recognize.
Yet another annoying recorded message regarding a repayment scheme for a loan!
This is a dam recorded message saying that your Internet is going to be cut off - In my case it referred to BT number yet I am Not with BT

SCAM I don't know who this company is but they are ARSEHOLES. I answered, they asked to speak to *my name*, I said "who's calling" , they said "good afternoon *my name* I'm Alex how are you today?" , I said "which company are you and why are you calling me?" He then MIMICKED me like a primary school child and hung up. What a sad life to have, working for a scumbag scam company bullying people on their own phone numbers.

Just had this number call - but I never pick up the phone. Worst thing you can do, as it confirms to the other end yours is a proper phone number which will be sold on to every piece of scum in the known universe. got a call from this number and they hung up when I answered. few mins later someone rang quoting my name and address saying we had been getting unwanted calls. they could block these calls etc sounded good till charge of 1.90 a month mentioned. i asked who reported these calls but he said it was a general thing people in this area were suffering from. after hung up I checked the number of who called and was same as first caller who had hung up. these are the very same people we dont want calls from surely?

01892710579 -Claimed to be my local energy advisor and that I was responsible for the bills. They called my work number which I do not give out to businesses, also the classic pause before he introduced himself which is a sign they are using automated calling software, illegal in the UK.

Called this number back and got a pre-recorded message saying I'm todays lucky winner of £1000 or an iPad at which point I hung up and blocked the number!

SCAM - Seems to be a call centre as noisy line. Tried to obtain bank details etc under false pretences, alleging an engineer from BT has detected problems on my home landline and that without rectification I could incur £+ costs but if remedial action is taken quickly charges may be reduced. I asked for their engineer and departmental details but got nowhere so advised would call BT myself and the caller rang off. One for OfCom and other authorities.

Say nothing; leave them holding indefinitely. If they call back, phone 101 and report them to the Police (as I have).
Only had to look at this number to see it was an incoming scam. If you see this number on your screen, DO NOT ANSWER. Better still, put it in your ‘blocked’ section
