This is my number, my initials are MM and I live in London E14. It seems spam callers are using it as a cover (via computer generated calls) in order to get you to answer. If you do not know me, please do not call back. It is a real nuisance. I suppose it is happening to others as well

Fraud. Text received from them saying they are the "PRA Group. You have a discount". I didn't open the text, but googled PRA Group instead. Apparently they are an American debt collecting agency. Blocked!
Pre recorded Scam call relating to unexpected withdrawals from a bank account. No name or bank mentioned. Asked for me to press 1 to confirm. That's a giveaway (red flag) as is the lack of personal details. I put the phone down immediately.

SCAM Lady called "Ella Rose" from "Block Chain Network" called to tell me about the money I have lost from online trading. I know it is a scam as it is not relevant to me and they got my name wrong. Numbers they used were: 02080970131 and 02037400722
This number called said they were from my bank but didn't say which bank and that £2000 had been taken from my bank account. They then asked for my bank details, I hung up.

I was called on my mobile from this number at 15.05 on 4 May 2023. I didn't get to the phone before it stopped ringing and there was no message left. On 24 April 2023, I was also called from a number in the same range, that is 0141 320 0285, with exactly the same results. I've now blocked both numbers, but no doubt they could call me next week from 0141 320 0275 or similar! I've given it the benefit of the doubt with a rating of Annoying. I think it's actually likely to be Dangerous.

Maybe the situation with them would have been different. I was so naïve and did not have enough information I needed to know about the whole online investing scenario. Accident Calling from "the insurance company" when I asked him which one he just said about the accident I'd had. I asked which accident, as I've had a lot recently (I haven't needless to say) to which he replied the minor bump in the car. When I told I'd had a few of those in the last couple of months and I was worried that they were going to take my licence off me, but I didn't think it was my fault, even though they all said it was .... then the line suddenly went very quiet. :-)
